The project's goal
Automate the planning and manufacturing processes of parts and manage the company in a unified Odoo CRM system.
The business objectives of the project were:
● Creating a single system to manage all business processes of the manufacturing enterprise.● Providing complete on-site information for manufacturing parts.● Planning the production process.● Generating real-time analytical reports on the company's status.● Facilitating communication (messaging, email) among all departments.● Planning manufacturing and order execution within specified deadlines.
Production process planning
● Monitoring information in the system related to machine production and workers.● Displaying monthly, weekly, and daily workloads for each production area in the system. Weekly production plan development.● Maintaining separate directories in the system for products (parts, materials, tools).● Comparing planned and actual time for orders, parts, machines, and workers.● Matching identical material names in the system regardless of the country of production.● Displaying details that are part of an assembly (node).
Inventory management and storage tracking
● Displaying accurate material balances in the system after issuing part for machining (length, width, height).● Reserving material in the system for specific orders.● Writing off residual materials after converting units of measurement.● Maintaining material accounting in various units of measurement (kg, m2) and correlating their quantities.
Order fulfillment status
● Recording the actual setup and manufacturing time on the machine.● Displaying in the system the stage of readiness of a part, the operations it has undergone, and the production area it is in.● Showing the order fulfillment status as a percentage.● Displaying all orders by clients (completed, in production, and pending).● Checking each order for the presence of three components: material, tools, and technology.
